Did you know that ticket purchases and class fees account for less than half of Market House Theatre’s annual operating budget? It’s true! As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, we rely on our community for support so that we can continue providing everyone, regardless of financial resources, the opportunity to participate in the arts.

Your annual donations* help pay for the costumes, sets, and the rights to present plays to our community, giving everyone the opportunity to participate. Your gift in honor and in memory of someone provides scholarship funds so that all students who want to participate in classes can, regardless of financial means.

Your business can help MHT keep prices affordable for our community and help our Youth Education program serve children though programs like Theatre in Schools, Story Theatre, DanceMHT, and more! Opportunities start at just $300 and can be tailored to meet your marketing needs.

ENDOWMENTS + PLANNED GIVING

Your planned or endowment gift that includes Market House Theatre in your will or estate plans provides funding to help repair and maintain facilities and helps bring new artists, designers, and writers in new play series that help sustain and grow MHT for generations to come!

Market House Theatre hosts and participates in special fundraisers throughout the year including Kentucky Gives Day in May, supporting specific Theatre initiatives; the Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities during the summer which supports general operations, and Giving Tuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which supports student scholarships.

You can also support Market House Theatre year round by designated MHT as your charity of choice when you shop at Kroger. The Kroger Corporation will donate a percent of your purchase price to MHT and it doesn’t cost you a thing!
