Jesus Christ Superstar

June 4-20, 2026

Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Lyrics by Tim Rice

What’s the buzz? Jesus Christ Superstar is the iconic rock opera by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber that has moved audiences around the world for over 50 years. The show tells the story of the final week of Jesus Christ’s life through the eyes of Judas Iscariot — his closest friend, and the man history would remember as his betrayer.

Told entirely through song, the score weaves together rock, soul, and gospel into one of the most celebrated works in musical theatre history.

Market House Theatre’s production is directed by guest director Ron Ziegler, with scenic and lighting design by Tom Hansen and costume design by Davin Belt.
