MARKET HOUSE THEATRE IS BASED OUT OF 11 HISTORICAL BUILDINGS IN DOWNTOWN PADUCAH
Our facilities embrace their unique history while creating new, useful spaces for today.
Main Theatre
141 KENTUCKY AVE.
While originally a market for farmers to sell produce, the space was transformed into the iconic Market House Theatre in 1963. This revitalized space is the original MHT stage and is perfect for large meetings, weddings & receptions, and performances. In 2020, the lobby was renovated with larger restrooms and a built-in box office space with an outdoor box office. In 2023, the stage received a new LED wall and state-of-the-art theatrical lighting. The current theatre seating allows for 200 people.
Studio 200 Theatre & Events
209 MARINE WAY
Refurbished in Fall 2022, Studio 200 is the final piece of our Next Stage Project. The venue offers a spacious 3,000 square foot event area and a versatile 209-seat black box theatre, adaptable for any seating and staging configuration.
Courtyard Theatre

The Courtyard, created during the COVID-19 pandemic, is a dynamic 5,000 sq. ft. outdoor performance space featuring landscaping, a water fountain, and a covered stage. Its 600 sq. ft. lobby on Market House Square bridges the urban bustle with the Courtyard’s tranquility.
Box Office

DanceMHT Studios

Finalized under the Next Stage Project, the DanceMHT Studios host two fully-equipped dance studios with barres and full-length mirrors. This versatile space also includes a dedicated music classroom and a meeting room for diverse uses.

Our educational space boasts three versatile classrooms and two ensemble-style dressing rooms, ideal for rehearsals, classes, and workshop performances.
