Market House Theatre aims to provide a regular schedule of artistic opportunities, education and training in theatre, and to encourage participation in the arts as a way to enrich the community and teach valuable life lessons.

Our camps offer students of all ages the chance to build confidence, make new friends, and explore the world of performance through acting, storytelling, movement, and more. Whether it’s a one-day adventure or a week-long production, there’s a stage for everyone to shine.

FOOTLIGHTS

Looking for an exciting way to learn the fundamentals of theatre while building crucial life skills?

Footlights provides a fun and engaging learning experience from preschool to high school. Join us on Saturday mornings to play fun games, work on productions, and enhance your confidence, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned theatre enthusiast, footlights is the perfect program to dive into or continue experiencing theatre.

DanceMHT

DANCEMHT

Discover the joy of dance with DanceMHT, Market House Theatre’s premier dance program for all ages and levels! Choose from beginner to advanced classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and pointe, meeting on weekday evenings for approximately 16 weeks per session.

DanceMHT showcases its students’ hard work and dedication with an annual Spring Showcase. These events are an excellent opportunity to show your skills to friends and family while celebrating your love for dance.

ADULT CLASSES

Whether you’re stepping on stage for the first time or rediscovering your love of theatre, Market House Theatre’s adult classes offer a fun, welcoming environment to grow your skills. From acting and improv to playwriting and stagecraft, our adult education series is designed for all experience levels. You’ll meet new people, build confidence, and tap into your creativity—all while learning from experienced instructors in a supportive, no-pressure setting. Come for the class, stay for the community!

MHT offers financial aid, including partial scholarships for qualifying families. Please complete the scholarship form during your registration process.

CLASS REGISTRANT CANCELLATION POLICY

A full refund (minus administrative fees) will be issued for cancellations made at least two (2) weeks before the first day of class. A refund of 75% of the total class tuition will be issued for cancellations less than two (2) weeks before the first day of class. Registrations placed on a payment plan that cancel less than two (2) weeks before the first day of class will forfeit their first payment. No refunds will be issued on or after the first day of class. Registrations placed on a payment plan that cancel on or after the first day of class will be held liable for the entirety of the class tuition. No further registrations will be allowed until the canceled class is paid in full. Refunds and credits are at the discretion of management.

SUMMER WORKSHOP REGISTRANT CANCELLATION POLICY

A full refund (minus administrative fees) will be issued for cancellations made at least two (2) weeks before the first day of the camp. Cancellations made less than two (2) weeks before the first day of the workshop will receive a partial credit that can be applied to another summer camp in the same year. If Market House Theatre cancels a camp, students will be given a full refund. Refunds and credits are at the discretion of management.
