Market House Theatre is excited to participate in Kentucky Gives Day, a 24-hour statewide online giving event. This year, we’re aiming to raise $6,000 to support our student scholarship fund, which makes it possible for more young people to experience the magic of the arts.
These scholarship funds, awarded in both full and partial amounts based on financial need and availability, open the door for students to participate in impactful on-campus programming—including Footlights youth theatre, DanceMHT classes, and summer camps and classes.
In just the past 11 months, Market House Theatre has awarded $5,786.90 in scholarship funding, helping students across our region find their voice, build confidence, and grow through creative expression. Arts education does more than spark imagination—it strengthens communication skills, reading comprehension, teamwork, and empathy.
If you believe in the transformative power of the arts, we are counting on you to help us reach this goal. Every dollar makes a difference—and your support ensures that cost is never a barrier to participation.
Want to amplify your impact? Matching gifts make a huge difference! If you or your business is interested in offering a matching grant for Kentucky Gives Day, please contact Ronda Gibson, Development Director, at 270-444-6828 x103 or ronda@mhtplay.org.
Together, let’s make the arts accessible to every child who wants to learn, grow, and shine.
