Summer Camps

Payment Policy:

For any camp with a fee of $50 or less, MHT will require payment in full at the time of registration. For any camp with a fee of $50 or more, MHT will accept a $50 non-refundable deposit, per camp, at the time of registration. If a deposit is placed, the remaining balance must be paid in full no later than three weeks before the start of the camp. Online registrations must be paid in full. To make a deposit, register with the Box Office over the phone at 270.444.6828 or in person at 132 Market House Square Paducah, KY 42001.

Refund Policy:

Refunds will be issued for registrations cancelled up to 3 weeks before the first day of camp under the following terms: For camps paid in full at the time of registration, the camp fee will be refunded minus a $25 cancellation fee. For registrations reserved with a partial-payment deposit, the deposit will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 3 weeks of the first day of camp.

Summer Camp Teaching Staff

April Cochran is Education Director for Market House Theatre and has over 40 years of directing, teaching and performance experience for theatres throughout the midwest. She was the recipient of AACT’s Distinguished Merit Award in 2011.

Ashlee Soldo is Education Assistant for MHT.  She received her undergraduate degree in Musical Theatre from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and she has performed, taught, choreographed and directed in both the United States and Scotland.

Brian Johnson teaches at UT Martin and has been in over 14 MHT productions.

Dale Julian is the music teacher at Clark Elementary School. He has served as music director for several Family Series and summer camp productions at MHT.

Emily Yocum Black has performed extensively in musicals, operas, chamber and orchestral works for over 15 years.

Tim Franklin is a science teacher at Paducah Middle School. He offers a unique approach to teaching science by utilizing fine arts in his classroom instruction.
