2023 New Play Competition

The window for submission is currently closed. The next 2024 NEW PLAY COMPETITION will open in August of 2023!

Attention playwrights. Market House Theatre is accepting full length plays only, for possible production during our season. We are looking for playwrights with a residence in Kentucky or border states surrounding Kentucky (MO, IL, IN, OH, WV, VA, TN). The play must never have been produced before but readings are acceptable. Limit one entry per playwright. Winning entry will receive a prize of $500. Winners will also receive a one year free subscription to Play Submission Helper. www.playsubmissionshelper.com. Deadline for entry October 31, 2022.
